☔ Ktm 690 Enduro R Fuel Range

TESTED | 2019 KTM 690 ENDURO R. KTM hits the 690 Enduro R with a heap of updates designed to expand its range and its fanbase. The KTM 690 Enduro R is a curious bike. In a lot of ways it defies easy categorization and I suspect that’s because it’s not a simple fit for the Australian market. On one hand we have a country that adores the big The KTM 690 Enduro R is also equipped with a set of Brembo disc brakes (300 mm front and 240 mm rear). Hit the jump for more information on the KTM 690 Enduro R. 2013 KTM 690 Enduro R My criteria, or requirements, back in the spring of 2013 were: a new bike, light weight, enduro capable, plenty of power, runs on 80 octane fuel and long service intervals. A good selection of after-market parts also had an impact. Anyhow, I don’t think I had any other options that would have met my criteria, other than the KTM 690 Enduro R. It’s a pukka round-the-globe adventure bike, especially as an Enduro LR (long range) version, which was introduced for 2020 with a 25-litre fuel capacity – with 60mpg easily achievable, that I had three separate instances of stalling with my 690. The first was a nearly broken wire on my aftermarket kickstand cutout switch causing random stalling while riding. The second was a cracked ceramic insulator on my sparkplug causing it to ground out instead of the spark reaching the cylinder. UPDATE [17.3.2015] After installing the RR racks and Perun moto rear rack the carrying capacity is greatly improved. I can now mount 4 FuelFriend cans very conveniently. 2 at each side on the RR racks and 2 on the rear rack. The extension plate comes in handy if you want to mount two on the rear rack. So I’ve narrowed it down to the KTM 690 Enduro R, Husqvarna 701 Enduro and the AJP PR7. With the KTM and Husqvarna, I’d look to get the Rade Garage Rally kit with the additional tank under the seat. With the AJP it sounds like I’d need to change the suspension give the Sachs issues. The Husky 701 was at the top of my list, until this awesome deal came up on a 17 690 Enduro. Saves me $3k off the cost of the Husky, and it's only got 340 miles on it. 1. oider_hund. • 6 yr. ago. Yeah it's a pity that they don't update the DRZ. But sounds like you got yourself a great deal on the 690 Enduro! As a happy owner of 701 enduro 2020 doing my first 1000km and recently was comparing it with ktm here are the differences I knew from dealer and noticed: KTM 690 enduro 2020: +700euro, usb charger (!), more onroad tires with "rainy" picture. Nicer saddle, mirrors, rear redlight, nicer plastic with carbonish pieces, blacked handelbar. The 690 Enduro R is arguably one of the best dual sport motorcycles on the market. Powering the 690 Enduro R is a 693cc liquid cooled, single cylinder engine. This is mated to a 6 speed transmission with quick shifter and hydraulically actuated slipper clutch. The KTM 690 Enduro R also weighs only 139 Kg, an important characteristic considering that it’s being marketed as an agile bike ready to tackle a wide range of terrains. Hi, I read this thread with interest as I have had a 690 enduro R for 3 years and no problems !! I ride in South Africa where there are plenty dirt roads, in fact my 16k have been done almost entirely off road.
